The Seminole Story
Our Heritage, Values & Views
Over 75 years ago, Seminole Feed® established its position as a trusted
company with a stellar reputation. To this day, we work hard to maintain
that respect and honor.
Building
on a Proud Heritage
It’s hard to come by third-generation, family-owned companies these
days. Corporate mergers and buy-outs seem to be the norm, and we’ve
grown accustomed to dealing with faceless, out-of-touch decision makers
in big city offices.
Not so at Seminole Feed®.
At Seminole, we’re still family-owned. We still focus on horses.
We still value our personal touch and dedication to customer service. And
we continue to honor our heritage today as we provide products, expertise,
industry support and education for the exciting equine and agricultural
markets in the Southeast. The 50,000 horses that thrive on Seminole Feed
daily are a tribute to this company.
Please join us as we celebrate over 75 years of quality research, service and
support of the horse industry and agriculture.
Seminole is one of the few companies in America today that requires fixed
formulation in its premium horse feeds. This diligent control over the manufacturing
process, combined with Seminole’s finest-quality ingredients and
superior horse feed recipes, ensures that customers are rewarded with the
highest quality, most carefully formulated equine nutrition products available.
Our feeds are milled in the all-natural, non-medicated Seminole Feed mill
in downtown Ocala, right in the middle of the Horse Capital of the World.
Seminole’s equine nutrition product line includes its 30 signature premium and super premium horse feeds, in addition to the nine horse feeds in the Seminole Wellness® line, which are low starch, mostly herb-based and the most premium horse feeds in the world. These Seminole and Seminole Wellness products are distributed to customers via 161 select Seminole Feed dealers around the southeast and Buckeye Nutrition in the East and Midwest.
In addition, Seminole sells a variety of forage products, such as alfalfa, timothy, timothy/alfalfa, orchard/alfalfa, forage cubes and pellets, bagged forage products and more. Seminole also owns and manages three Seminole Stores in Marion County, Florida, where we provide a huge selection of outstanding equine care products for anyone who owns or is interested in horses.
